Is that really a debate? USMC is the ONLY branch that counts (no offense intended. its pretty much in the contract to give all other branches shit, and know that they will give it back to you just as hard...and for the record, my best friend is in the navy) I got out fairly recently, had an interesting few years in, spent time on multiple continents and in a combat zone. There are many good, and many bad things about joining up, but I would urge anyone who is interested to follow through, it really is a great experience.. (but, dont believe anything your recruiter says unless you get it in writing, and signed. i swear, some of those guys are used car salesmen on the side.)
