I am not good with computers , but my brother is.

So what do you mean you can't start? BIOS boot? or your whole computer won't start?

It's like building a snap together model. Just be sure to work in a static free environment. There are directions allover the net for this.

as stated, switch on psu, plugged in, check everything to see if they are good to go. does the psu run when you turn it on? if not check the power button switch it could be broken or any of the parts.

is the psu even working.

do you know whats running or not?

double check all of the plugs.

well i have everything plugged in together. the green light on my motherboard is lit showing its getting power. the one thing not being used on the motherboard is a four prong slot/outlet near the pocessors motherboard and heat sync fan BUT my Power Supply doesnt have a four prong inlet....... would that maybe the problem because my old motherboard and power supply has that exact 4 prong inlet + outlet being used.

The jumper of the power button that is related to the case is not probably connected. You better check the manual of the motherboard and the case.
That's what my brother says.. o.O

did you plug in your 6750 card?

some require a 6-pin PCI plug ...

You might list the brand AND model numbers of the parts... just knowing the brand isn't very helpful and just knowing a model number isn't much help either.

Sorry, I wish I can help you out but I'm not really good with computers. I'm trying to learn it too. It's really hard and confusing. Makes me mad all the time.
