I get quite sad when a good anime ends, even if it has a happy ending to it.

Welcome to the NHK, Steins; Gate, Code Geass are the ones that I got most sad about. But I ended up finding out that Steins; Gate has got a new movie, new episode 25 and sequel so I'm pumped for that!! Code Geass has a new sequel too!

But what if your favourite on-going anime just ended/cancelled? For e.g. Naruto Shippuden, Bleach, Etc.

I know with Naruto I would because that's been my longest watched Anime and to go through that many episodes feels like a personal experience for me. I've witnessed the rise and fall of Naruto and if it just ended I would be so distraught..

The fillers have ended though and oh wow I cannot wait for the sheer epicness.

I really should go to bed

My brain is half dead

I never post

always

lurk

sleep ....

Sadness is a strong emotion. Its more of a sense of loss when your favorite something is gone.

I get upset when my favorite series is done but i dont dwell on it.Then i get really annoyed when the ending is stupid. I only get sad when the main characters that i develop an emotional attachment to dies in the anime.

I was at a con not too lomg ago , where the seiyuu Ishikawa san was asked how he felt when his character Itachi Uchiha of the anime Naruto , died. He answered he felt really sad. and really wished he didnt die and also he said He felt a part of him died too.

Well i need to go back to sleep too,,,, Oyasuminasai...

If anyone died in Naruto at the moment it would honestly feel like I've physically lost someone. It's like I have an emotional attachment to every single character.

Below is a spoiler for Naruto, do not read it if you don't want to it to be spoiled.

I get too emotional and too involved in them, but if I do then that must mean that they are creating really good anime. If an anime can emotionally affect me, then that must mean that I am weak willed or the anime is something.

I don't know...it's something I can't explain, I haven't really fully explored my feelings around anime yet. All I know is that I adore them and it's so much better than stuff that you see on western t.v. I've became quite addicted to the whole Japanese culture actually. It's so... colourful? It's different I can tell you that, and I like different.
I plan to visit there someday and will learn Japanese one day, maybe even move there, who knows.

NOt a lot of anime kills their main charcaters and lately Naruto has done a lot lately, I even thought that what his name would die when Pain attacked the village.

Another anime that got me was Phantom Requiem for the Phantom, the ending affected me because I was rooting for the characters but

Phantom Requiem perfect example of a bad ending imo. The ending was confusing:

Well, I actually liked Steins; Gate's ending. The entire anime was a masterpiece imo and ended off in a perfect way. The OVA is coming out soon followed by a film later next year so can't wait for that
