So do you protect your manga in any specific way ? like a certain room to make sure the pages won't turn yellow. using manga protection sleeves, or do you just leave your manga whereever and dont really care about it ?

For the longest time I've had most of my manga stored away in cardboard boxes, because I move pretty frequently, and that's kept them good as new. ^_^;; I got a bookcase recently and instantly filled it with manga from some of those boxes, and now I kind of regret it because this place is so dusty I have to clean them all the time.

I soak them in salt water and then place them in a freezer to preserve the great pages.

I don't use anything really special, but I always wash my hands before touching. I don't bend the spine, cover, or pages either...
This is the same way I treat all my books, manga or not, I mean....what's the use of haveing a story, if you are so afraid to damage it, that you can't read it.

I don't do anything special either. I just keep them on a shelf, I make sure not to bend any of the pages, cover or spine and I don't let people smoke in my house.

I just keep them on my shelf nice and that's it :/ Some books I got are 2nd hand so they already have some creases, library stamps/labels and a bit yellow. But the ones I buy I brand new, I just put them on the shelf and I don't mess with them after I read them. My house is also smoke free so that helps, and my cat doesn't go anywhere near them

The manga I like to reread is always near my desk, which takes over the entire shelf that it has built onto it. My dresser is completely filled with books, I have a bookcase filled with manga, and what's not in the dresser or the bookcase or on shelves, are in plastic bins. I like reading, so it tends to overfill my living area. I've been meaning to buy more plastic bins to store more books safely. They aren't filled with just books though, there are some documents I store in them as well.

Mine live in 16 X 12 X 12 cardboard boxes. I treat my manga like you would any book. Someday I'll have a place with proper bookshelf's.
