Judging by the name difference, I assume this isn't a sequel that needs the first, so I'll pick it up without worry. Though by all means, I would love to witness for myself why Bakemonogatari has such a notable legacy. (Unless I am mistaken and it is indeed a direct sequel that assumes you know the previous, in which case I'll likely have to decide against picking it up.) And if this rumor of Recorder to Randoseru being in the class of short episodes, there's no difficulty in picking it up. I've liked each of the previous of that kind. Though shouldn't the title be preserved as "Randoseru" seeing as that is a one-of-a-kind noun? We don't have randoseru in America for sure, just cheap backpacks frequently replaced. I would think that it's relevant per-- HOLY SHIT Rie Kugimiya is voicing in it, it is now more important than the rest of the full-length shows XD

Good job getting that, and please try to get Shaft to say yes more, as well as add Bakemonogatari.

On the topic of the original Bakemonogatari, I honestly didn't find any appeal to it, not sure why but probably just me. I think it might of been the storyline been a bit loose rather than linear. If Rie Kugimiya is doing the voicing, the girl in the promotional picture might probably be a tsundere. Well, she will be in Zero no Tsukamia F* soon so get to see even more of her

I'm sure it would be fun to watch it on torrent sites. I hate when i can't buy something only because I live in wrong country. It's funny that i can buy DVD, BD that are restricted to other regions, country etc, directly from publisher and have it send to me, but i can't buy streaming service.
