Retaliation to Authority
Posted 1/3/12 , edited 1/4/12
Do you ever find it kind of strange how no matter how much shit "authority" gives people and they always take it?

Have you ever retaliated? Spoke back, fought back, took a stand and pushed forward? Even challenge?

I never understood why whenever it came to Teachers, Mentors, Police etc(Authority really), people just bend over and let them have at it.

Whenever you smell bullshit, or you SEE bullshit, no matter who it is, this is what you SHOULD do.

I always object when something makes no sense.

Have you ever retaliated?

Yep I have. I had a teacher insult me, so I wrote a very well worded email that was shafted since I warned him not to do it again or there would be consequences. Frankly I wish he would have so I could have given him a black eye, stupid self-righteous egotistical bastard that he was.

Well, at the time that was what I thought I wanted to do, but thankfully the email stopped anything else from happening or I may have actually done it. I tend to act on impulse quite a bit or sit and brood. When I'm angry things tend to break more often than not. I think it may have something to do with ADHD but not too sure. As an "In the moment thought" attacking him would make sense going on the whole injured pride thing. However in reality, without the childish ego and idiocy writing an email or sulking angrily were the best options.

I don't think I've ever been much impressed by station, position, social status, income bracket... now, teachers and sages, on the other hand, I feel I can learn something from them, even if I don't take all they say for granted: There's value even in the erroneous or outdated information, because it's a snapshot of a certain perceptive slant - generational, cultural, etc. - that I can examine and associate with other things.

So, kind of like Thoreau's Civil Disobedience, right? I don't know if CR counts, but I guess not.

sun tzu said something like the good warrior wins the battle and then fights, the losing warrior fights the battle hoping to win

in other words get a big ass posse and get rich and famous and popular and renowned and educated and everything and then nobody can diss you without ruining their lives.

or just be the man or the police yourself.

Lol everyone who knows me knows that I don't take shit from anyone.

I treat people how I'd like to be treated with kindness and respect, and if I get treated like crap in return then you're gonna pay. End of

My last boss treated me like crap and I told him to go fuck himself and give me my wages early because he worked me for 12 hours without a break which is illegal. Threatened him with that and got my money, didn't even need to hand in a notice.

Shouldn't have fucked with me, stupid, fat, lazy bastard.

i'm fat, and some might call me stupid or lazy. makes me feel like you're talking about me.
i hate it when i feel that way, that people are insulting me in a slanty nondirect secretive manner that prevents me from returning the favor.

i'll assume i'm just being paranoid or something for now.

Why would I be talking about you, I didn't even know you existed until you posted this? Are you a horrible, mean, sexist person like my boss? I don't think so. I said it out of rage at someone who made my life miserable for 3 long months. Yes you are being paranoid btw.

When I was about to leave my former employe they made a "misstake", a misstake that would cost me around 10k dollars. Something that really made me rather angry, so I went and talked to my boss. At first she was unsure if it could be fixed. But when I said I would reveal every single piece of crap I knew (not enough to sue but enough for a bit of a pr nightmare), she became very cooperative and later that day it was fixed.
Yaa, I really hate incompetent management... they are what makes the world to go hell.
