I stopped playing last month. I have a level 62 Breton and my save file is over 14MBs. If the next patch doesn't fix the lag this will be the first game I trade into gamestop in years.

They really need to patch a lot of things for Skyrim. The most irritating part of the game is the lag. I had to get rid of 5 game data's just to stop the lag temporarily. :/

Hello I just had skyrim for a while now im halfway finish with the storyline when i been playing i really dont lag and i just noticed this page about skyrim i had no idea that skyrim sometimes intends to lag im lvl. 33 in under a month already normally takes about a month to get there. But unfortunately i need to get myself dawnguard before fireball newest DLC comes out in September or October not sure. anyways hope there is a resolve for the game lag in skyrim for PS3 users.

This was posted 8 months ago, before the lag fix patch. Since then they've patched it.

As mentioned above, the game plays fine now since they have patched the game (several patches actually). I still get the occasional drop in frame rate in areas with a lot of fog or mist (like around waterfalls) but it is still playable.

My PS3 still restarts sometimes at random places, but it seems to always save right before it restarts. (I think it is the Autosave causing the game to crash and restart the Playstation).

I am on my third play through. So far I have played a full warrior, a paladin, and now I am playing a full mage. So far the mage has been the hardest class to play at lower levels. I play on Master difficulty and I have had to lower it down to expert on two occasions where I did not feel like going back to a previous save and doing that quest later after I level up more. Now that I am level 23, Master difficulty is starting to be easy now. Once I level my blacksmith and deck out Lydia in full Deadra armor, Master difficulty should be a cake walk. I am also gathering better gear for J'Zargo as I prefer to have him tag along when I am dragon hunting. I switch to Lydia when I go and clear dungeons.

If you think getting to level 33 is fast, one of my friends leveled up to level 40 in a week when the game came out.

Over last weekend I level my enchanting to level 100 (was already in the 30s) and went from level 19 to level 23 in under 20 minutes. If you use trainers, and use guides to power level skills, you can reach the cap very quickly without actually "playing" the game.

The PS3 also doesn't have any DLC yet (http://www.inquisitr.com/327450/sony-working-with-bethesda-to-save-skyrim-dawnguard-dlc-for-ps3/). I would either get it for the 360 or the PC. PC version may perform better depending on your PC. You probably want to have DSL/Cable for PC version(Steam) which I would assume most people have, especially those who stream crunchyroll.

I used to have it on Xbox 360, the Ps3 version was much better though.

If I could play it on my PC I so would. Thief with Bow and double daggers for the win!
