Apple and Google WristWatches
Posted 1/5/12 , edited 1/5/12
I don't know how I missed this awhile ago.

But most don't know about it so I'll post it.

http://www.ign.com/articles/2011/12/19/report-apple-and-google-developing-smart-watches

I know most people always hate on the new thing, whenever the iPhone came out, everyone hated on it, and it was soon a big success, whenever the iPad came out, everyone thought it was a giant iPod Touch, Whenever 3D(Or Stereoscopic) came out, you all hated that.

But I'm going to give these things a try, not liking Android that much. I'm obviously getting the Apple Branded one.

MIH

EDIT: For Android users/Apple haters?

I said things along these lines before, but he was more elaborate, I think I can gather this as evidence.

A google wristwatch has honeycomb on it and you can access Android Store, not to mention play angry birds too. That beats Apple by a mile!

I'm not lying. I bet Apple's one only plays music and a pedometer, no App Store nor apps included.

Personally, I pick Android over apple because I learnt how to program it as one of my elected courses at Uni. Though I hate the tedium that comes with setting up and using apple hardware, that I've experienced with my sisters I-pod touch.
Though such complaints are neither here nor their.

I'm a fan of pocket watches, but I might try one of these when they get cheep. If they cost as much as my phone/loptop/etc, then its just the same thing, but shittier... And pocket watches are classier xD

Android is okay, but I wouldn't suggest anything powered by Android would hold a candle to anything iOS.

Not only would playing Angry Birds be impossible on both devices, Apple has an App Store, and I'm pretty sure that device is going to have Gingerbread or Ice Cream Sandwich, not the Tablet-Based Honeycomb, that wouldn't make any sense.

They need to fix their marketing among other things, it's just a black iOS device more prone to crashing.
