area no kishi looks kinda fun, I'll probably check it out.

However only 3 more titles now for CR to announce, very curious as to what they will be... especially since I think 1 will certainly be Milky Holmes, which leaves far too many shows that look good and not enough spots on the board.

Just not into much comedies anymore. Comedy is good but when it's overexaggered, I just find it to be boring and eventually leads to a drop. This happened to me a few times before and wasted time. So in the end, drop before watching = profit. At least, that's for me in my case.

But on topic, I do want to check out Moretsu Pirates, Nisemonogatari, Ano Natsu de Matteru (if executed correctly), and possibly Brave 10 from CR. Also might try out Area no Kishi if it does get confirmed to be streamed here soon.

Also, jw but what series u looking forward to from CR that has already been confirmed to be streamed here?

I usually divide series into "watch now" or "watch after the season ends" categories.

"Watch now" is reserved for series that either I don't expect to have a continuing plot (like the two short form series), ones that I am in interested in, but don't think I will be chomping at the bit for the next episode, or ones that I simply can't hold back from watching until they have wrapped up.

"Watch later" tends to be for direct opposites: Series I have low interest in, and series I believe I will really like. The reason for waiting on these is so that I can watch as many episodes in one sitting as I like. I will sometimes start just before the season end, just so I won't be spoiled on the ending of the series by others.

I should note I will sometimes wait for 2-3 episodes to see what the "buzz" is on a series before I start watching. At the moment, I can only say that Moretsu Pirates and the two short form series fall into the "Watch now" category. The remainder is still undecided at this point, and will probably depend on what I see in discussion after the first 2-3 episodes.

That's nearly the same way I watch anime. I divide them into sections of "what I'm watching", "what I should be watching", "what I should hold on and watch later", and "what I should just drop".

I generally read the ratings and reviews of good series before considering watching. If it's well critically received, I'll give it a shot. If not, then I may put it on hold or watch later. My waiting period for current anime is a bit longer thou as I tend to wait till a season is nearly over with 1 or 2 more episodes left to watch till I consider watching it. However, there are some exceptions such as prequels and sequels that relates to a series I've already watched from the same story or one that's highly anticipated. Other that fall into the category would be large series such as Naruto, Bleach, and Fairy Tail. Sometimes although rarely, I go back to an anime that I've dropped before and watch it again to give it a second chance. It all depends on how well the series is executed especially in storyline imo.

Not too bad, a soccer and cat series that had caught my eye on previews. Hoping that the releases are capped off well!

It seems like this won't be a good season for us in Scandinavia. At first it looked like it. Shame.

CR will most likely stream Milky Holmes. But as for Black Rock Shooter, I'm going to guess that Funico will be streaming that not only due to limit on the remaining slots for CR but also because they have affliction with a video game related to the series. It will however be premiered on the noitamina network.

Funimation also has a history of streaming NoitaminA shows as simulcasts. They are simulcasting Guilty Crown and Black Rock Shooter could fit in with what they think will work for them. The Vocaloid connection also gives it some buzz-worthiness. I guess we'll see as we get closer to February.

I'll give Area no Kishi a try, seems to be one everyone was expecting/anticipating so it should be good.
