Humans of course.

completely agree, we forced our way to the top of the food chain with our tools, and nothing on earth kills more people than people.

Only because of the weapons we've created. Unaugmented humans are pretty pathetic when you take 'em to an interspecies fight.

Just look in the mirror.

There has never been a day in recorded history that a war wasn't going on someplace.

Humans are the only species unequivocally known to kill for fun, all others it's just speculation.

Orcas, coyotes, and wolves have all been observed to kill animals that were not threatening them, leaving the carcasses to rot. How do you explain that, if not a pleasure kill?

Making a point . . . is an explanation... Claiming territory, another...

Can you prove any other animal's motivation? Was it pleasure?

We don't know what their thought process is, we cannot ask them. Unless you can read minds you never know. It is just sophistry and anthropomorphizing.
Unequivocal? Only by imagination.

People, on the other hand, have admitted to that kind of stuff, even celebrated murder.

I would not invite a wolverine to lunch, nasty tempered they are...dangerous animal, non sea going nor serpentine..

sharks get the munchies a lot ,, especially the great white....

I admire the tough little mongoose though, killer of cobra's...All Hail, Riki Tiki Tavi..

the raven is quite the intelligent bird you know..

nature has a clean up crew for rotting carcass...crows, ravens, the buzzard,,,etc..etc...

but I still say the human race is the most predatory,
