I am over some things, like I wont pass a graveyard without giving a "nod" or a friendly wave to acknowledge the dead.

I used to do something similar. I used to work late shifts on my previous work and my favourite path had a cemetery. I always showed my respect by thinking "if these bastards become zombies I'm so running over them".

I'm not, but my mom is. She actually ran out of a room once because I opened an umbrella inside the house. She yelled saying that I was going to get hit by lightning and she was serious too!

Did she run out like this?

black cats are actually guardians, such as the raven or crow.....known as the witches cat, they got the bad rep of being 'unlucky'..
tsk tsk

black cats are guardians of a once living spirit...they carry with them this spirit..

my cat, Captain Ahab, is a golden eyed, big-eating, drunken, overweight, blacker than night, cat....probably formerly a pirate, by the way he behaves...

bad luck? only to the barn rats....

trust me

Usually nope but I sometimes avoid walking on lines on the sidewalk. I just get a weird feeling that I might get bad luck for the day if I do :|

I'm usually superstitious about anything at night, primarily because of aliens (especially "The Thing" (no, not the Fantastic 4 character)) and other supernatural beings.

It's not like I still believe in the monster under my bed or anything.

As a Korean there's a bunch of these weird Korean superstitions that we have, personally I find them ridiculous and I disobeyed my grandma who heavily enforced it...

Some of them are that if you whistle too constantly then Snakes will come and harm you in some way, I continued to whistle profusely and not let up, especially since I was SO excited as a child that I could actually whistle haha.

If you lean on your arm and hold up your head using your hand while lying down on your side, then your father will die early. I still remember not doing that SO many times as a kid, because I feared for my father's life, WHY DID I DO THAT.

If you're sitting down on a chair and you keep on tapping your foot, you lose your luck, my grandma would hit me all the time on the leg cuz I tapped it a lot when I was bored or doing a chore on the table.

Lastly if you sleep with your head pointing towards the South then you will die and join the dead... That's always been the most scariest one for me as a kid. My grandma literally woke me up at some random morning time because she saw that I was sleeping towards the Southern end, this is supposedly because in Korean tradition the dead are rested with their heads facing South.

I'm pretty sure there's MUCH more, and if any other Koreans here on CR would like to elaborate that'd be awesome of you guys.
