It always turns out this way.... the only shows I wan't to watch (Another, Ano Natsu de Matteru) aren't for UK audiences, which leaves me hoping Anime on Demand will get them!. I suppose I should be grateful Nisemonogatari is watchanble for me, but being the SHAFT fanatic I am, I'd probably import the series anyway...

Nice 2 unexpected picks really looking forward Another as for Familiar of Zero great for fans but I have not seen the past seasons and not really in the mood to marathon anything that long and even if I was not enough space for it. Now if crunchyroll picks it up the past seasons though I'll give the series a try.

Scandinavia, Finland, and the Netherlands but without the UK and Ireland? If someone offered me an even money bet on whether Anime on Demand has Another, I'd take it in a second.

Hey, a show I was mildly interested in (Zero no) and a show I as super interested in!! CR will be the home to every anime I wanted to watch in Winter 2012 if they add Amagami SS+ (seems unlikely, but hey I can hope) and Milky Holmes 2.

Question: Since VIS I think picked up Blue Exorcist, and they just picked up Rinne no Lagrange, wouldn't CR be able to Simu Rinne as well since they Simu tons of VIS properties? That's the one I'm waiting for to be announced. Either The Anime Network is Simu Rinne or CR will or both. Who is Simu'ing Rinne at this point anyway?

Viz itself is simulcasting Rinne:
http://www.crunchyroll.com/anime-news/2011/12/26/viz-media-announces-rinne-no-lagrange-anime-simulcast
http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2011-12-26/viz-adds-lagrange-the-flower-of-rin-ne-anime

It will likely also be available on Hulu, just as their most recent simulcasts (Tiger and Bunny and Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan first & second series) were. Also, like those titles, it is not likely to be shared with Crunchyroll.

Do you have something against the third ZnT series?

Remember, Zero no Tsukaima F is the fourth series.

I question the value of streaming only the final season of Zero without having any of the previous three seasons on the site. Especially since the 2nd and 3rd seasons never received an official release in English. This could confuse and frustrate a lot of people.

While I don't disagree with you, I don't think that's a good reason to NOT pick the show up. It is unfortunate to only have a later portion of a series but sadly it goes with the territory of licensing content from another country. Sometimes they just can't have everything. I'm sure there are plenty of people on this site that have watched Zero no Tsukaima fansubbed since it's a great show.

I suppose saying that "you can't have everything" is a valid argument in this kind of thing, and most continuations do at least make some effort to get people up to speed before launching into the plot. And it's not as if I personally am at risk of missing anything that was in the first 3 seasons or the first 12 novels.

However, I wouldn't recommend that someone interested in Star Wars start with Return of the Jedi either.

Zero no Tsukaima Final has as much source material to go through as the entire first 3 seasons combined, and I have my doubts as to whether it will have the time to properly introduce the new characters who have yet to appear, while at the same time familiarizing newcomers with the established cast dynamics. I don't think it's unreasonable to wish that anyone new to the series should be able to get the full experience, starting from the beginning.

HAhah. Even if crunchy say they don't have enough people witch premium accounts from other countries, but how you expect people buying premium with No new titles available? I expected ad least 2-3 new titles available for my country, but all I got is two 3-minute long anime. For now it's the worst season on crunchy.

Well, at least I'll still watch it elsewhere.
