I read some chapters. It's good, but to me no football (soccer) manga or anime will ever be as good as Captain Tsubasa.

Well, episode 2 aired about half an hour from time of this post and I liked it. There's actually some real life strategy involved and ofc, drama..involving the brothers and soccer:
** Spoiler Alert!!! click to hide or show** ^Basically, if u take that extra step, it's almost guaranteed that the goalkeeper will predict where the opposing player will shoot @. The reason Kakeru had no choose but to shoot from the right is because his weakness is from the left (according to plot). ^ Pretty curious who that person is. It could be Suguru due to his skills, his knowledge of Kakeru's left weakness, and "heart". Their height figures doesn't match thou... Also, something else happens: ** Spoiler Alert!!! click to hide or show** |

I hated how they did the accident scene. It was brutal and bloody in the manga. Because of episode 2, I'm thinking of dropping the anime and just read the manga.

Ah, I should check out the manga soon. By experience, I know that most if not all mangas has better characters and plot than its anime countepart. I can kinda predict what happened after that last scene thou. |

This is actually one of my top animes to watch this season right now. So many questions that needs answers:
1) What happened after that accident?? 2) Does he live/die? 3) Who's that kid with the mask appearing @ night? 4) Will that girl also join the team? I really recommend this series right now as one of the underrated shows this season |

I saw episode 2 and was completely shocked with the ending. I hated how I have to wait a week to know what's gonna happen next. So I am now reading the manga and I'm bawling like a baby. This is just too sad. ![]() |

I can't find the manga for this series yet :(. O well
Something else that popped into my mind but was that "accident" really an accident? I mean, Suguru is one of the best players in the series. I wonder if someone or some team arranged that accident intentionally. |
