This is just a great show. If you are a fan of the first season and love what Shaft does, it hands down the best thing out there. This is reason why i look forward to Saturdays on CR. I really think that Shaft knows what they are doing and they didn't change or give into many fans demands. Sometimes being a bit wired is great.

When Koyomi says to Karen "That's why no matter how much time passes, you'll never grow up," did anyone else get a flashback? That's what Karen said to Koyomi in the Hachikuji arc of Bakemonogatari. It was the same line word-for-word in Japanese.

This episode wasn't bad, and it had important stuff for moving the story along, however I still felt like it was a step down from the last episode. Don't get me wrong, a step down from magnificent is still damn good. I'm not sure how I feel about the whole (borderline) incest thing, but that's the Japanese for you. . .I've seen much worse in that regard in hentai.

As usual there was some pretty stunning scenery. Like these.

And even the shots in this scene

This would be golden to watch while tripping. Just saying. . .

Can't wait until the next one!

Wow, I can't believe you actually remembered that lol cause I didn't from when I watched Bakemonogatari but that was a long time ago. Yea, I am VERY curious on what will happen next episode as the previous scene left on borderline incest for a good legit reason.

Agreed with you on the scenery part. Shaft does a hell of a good job on the animation.

so that's why Shinobu did not want to help Araragi. only way to suck the fever was kissing Karen-chan. no wonder Shinobu told Araragi it was not advisable on his situation. so my point is no incest on this part

Crunchyroll moved the "simulcast" to 14 hours after the airing =|

It still airs at 10am EST (12:00 am in Japan).

Why was the simulcast downgraded to a latercast? And is this a permanent thing? If it is a permanent thing, who do I complain to?

Oh well theres nothing to watch on sunday anyway

Honestly I think CR should show at least three shows on Saturday morning by noon, and then Sunday morning around 9-10 like networks did when I was little.
