I never go to 'top 40' clubs. The music is not what I'm in to and the people/organizers have no idea what they're doing. I only go to big events with 8 or more DJ's. Everyone at the big events seems to having a good time as well.

I used to go clubbing around 4 times a week in my university days. If you go out with good, fun friends who are only going out to have a laugh then it's almost always a great way to spend the night (in my experience). But if you go out with friends who are only going to bare as much skin as possible and pick up the first person who looks at them, then you'll end up on your own and very pissed off (also in my experience).

Regarding the thing about no one dancing in the OP's post, I found that around midnight, when the most people are there, everyone starts dancing. And by dancing I mean moving as one giant mob on the dance floor. Sometimes it can be energising and really fun to be caught up in everyone's energy and freedom, but then sometimes all you get are idiots pushing and shoving or getting off with their latest catch in the middle of the dance floor. I suppose it really just depends on who is out that night and what day of the week it is; for example, in this city the best night to go out for people aged 18-25 is a monday night, and the best night for people who don't like uni students or who are older is saturday.

oh, so this ain't about clubbing seals, had the wrong idea for a second there. anyways I've never been to a club, I hate crowds, loud music, large gathering of annoying people and I don't really drink. why people go to such things is beyond me, maybe they seek to feel comforted by the thought that they are apart of something?

@munchthis Nice over-analyzation, but myself and most of my friends go because we F'ing love live producers playing electronic music.
I'm sure it also has something to do with being raised in the EDM scene.

@ people crying about being pushed and shoved no one is doing it intentionally, get over it.

when that bass drops, you know it's a good day

I went like twice with my friends but I didn't really like it. They still go clubbing in the weekends or for an occasion but I stay home. lol

My first, and possibly last time, I made out with a stranger after my now-ex left, talked to that stranger on the phone the day after and never again, lost my friend for an hour, and let a guy buy me a bottle of water whilst allowing him to think I'd call him later. It probably is best to stick with friends. -_-" But the party slut experience is one to be had, at least once. Just don't die.

Your to young to go clubbing and stay with your girlfriend to stay safe. Going clubbing and not drinking is allot of fun to watch and participate in the dancing. A drink or two is ok but if you get wiped out then you need to ask yourself why do drink so much. A natural high is far more fun then being doped on a chemical.

Well I have done both and many other chemicals in my life. Being comfortable with yourself is a good start then pick and choose.

I'm pretty comfortable with myself and i have gone out sober, but getting a natural high that surpasses chemicals doesn't happen. is all im saying.

I'm satisfied with the natural high I get from being alive and doing exciting things, anyone who needs chemicals to enhance their life is doing it wrong. Disagree all you want, you still fail.

Personally, I was referring to the people who do intentionally push and shove. There's not many, but there's some lol.

Edit: Ex is pretty safe unless you're an idiot and drink a ton of alcohol, mix various pills without thinking about it, can't control yourself and guzzle a gallon of water, or decide it is a good idea to take 2 or 3 more pills than usual. The people who hate ex are virtually all people who have never tried it or people who don't exercise common sense. Bottom line? MDMA is freakin awesome. You do right by it and it will do right by you.

While this is true to some extent, it's nearly always mixed with other things and unless you already know people, it's difficult to know for sure what is what. I can say that I have had a few bad experiences(though nothing life threatening) over the years, some because I wasn't using my head, some which weren't really the fault of my own. We did get pills with mescaline in them, and when you're not expecting that, I can't say it's the best thing ever. Also pills with...god knows what in them, one time at WEMF while we were being particularly irresponsible...nothing bad happened, but I was *pretty* sure I was going to disappear if I closed my eyes and it wasn't a fun weekend at all. I also knew a girl who died after a weekend of taking only e, but because it was mixed with amphetamines and she had a heart condition which she was unaware of, it was too much on her body. I've seen a lot of people make stupid decisions while rolling, and made a few myself.

Anyway, I am old and long "retired" from all that. I've had a lot of great experiences, but I don't think it's entirely responsible to say there's no risk as long as you're careful. Things happen to the best of us. I'm a mom though..I can't help, but think like that. hahah

Statistically speaking, ex is much safer than alcohol (and virtually all ex-related deaths involve alcohol in some way). Labs won't mix ex with dangerous substances simply because if people die, their business goes down. I personally never mix pills to avoid bad reactions, haha. I'm not saying ex is completely safe but, to me, the risk-to-reward factor is much greater than that of alcohol. Lately, I've been switching to mostly mollies. My source is well-trusted and has delivered good stuff time and time again, so I am sure I shall enjoy as much as I can before he quits.

Certainly. It is much easier to overdose on alcohol(it's pretty difficult to OD on MDMA, technically speaking, it's the other things which pose an issue or overheating/not staying hydrated/staying TOO hydrated). Also yes, if you already have a reliable source, it becomes much less likely that you will run in to any problems. Generally it's not cut with anything DANGEROUS, per se, just more dangerous than if it were mdma alone. CR is just full of kids, so I've got my responsibility hat on :D
