Now that Boxee on PC is dying a horribly dysfunctional death will there be an Official CR App for XBMC, it should be a simple port since Boxee is based of XMBC code.

This would be great!! I use the boxee app to watch the majority of my Crunchyroll content, but I am moving to XBMC since the Boxee folks are being tard hats. An official XBMC app is definitely needed.

Well, you can't log in with it so you can only watch free and sd content. This might be enough for some, but personally I'd prefer a full fledged addon =)

maruchan's plugin works with your username and password, with a little tinkering.

The premium content still won't show unless you make this edit:

I'd love to have an official addon, though.

Nice, gonna give it a spin (the edit was simple) ^^

Edit:
Had to tinker a bit to get it running on my mbp. Separate install of 10.1 as it wouldn't spin on 11 and then had to change the librtmp.so to a newer version (didn't try they one available in 11, it might work tho).

Recently added doesn't show everything it should it seems. Browsing series seems ok. So far works fine =)

Edit2:
Once the addon had been enabled in 10.1, it also works in 11, but due to dependencies it could not be enabled in 11 (might be able to edit the addon definition to get around this, but I haven't looked at that).

I'm using the same one as Sharpshot, to add your login all you do is go to the system/addons menu and configure the crunchyroll takeout plugin there with your users info. XBMC11 on Win64
