Thought I'd share some additional input to help people, further.


Conjugated from the adjective 楽しい (tanoshii), which is the non-past regular form (future and present tense).


This word is more commonly seen with just hiragana, and not Kanji.


彼女 literally means "she" (2nd/3rd person pronoun), but in some contexts can mean "girlfriend". Most young people these days, however, simply use ガールフレンド (gaaru furendo) for "girlfriend".


ちょっと is rarely written in its kanji form "一寸".


This is a na-adjective (the な has been omitted in this example), and is most commonly transformed into an adverb by replacing な with に to make 静かに (to do quietly). You might have heard this quite often in other shows where characters say "shizukani, shizukani!!" to tell other people to be quiet.


Many people mistake the second kanji "々" in this example for the katakana "ma" - but this is the kanji for repetition. The second "toki" becomes "doki" because of a phenomenon called "rendaku", and the resulting transformation is referred to as "nigori". You'll see lots of "nigori-fied" words when you learn the language, such as "hito" in the word "koibito" (lover).


This is conjugated from the verb 取る (toru = to take), using what's called the "たい volitional". る-verbs have the る replaced with たい, while う-verbs (like this one) use the verb stem (formed by removing the syllabic "u" and replacing it with an "i") + たい.


I'm not sure what this is supposed to be, but I'm guessing it's つまんない, which is a colloquial variant of the word つまらない (tsumaranai = boring).


The kanji form of this commonly heard expression is rarely used.
