making friends

While I don't have many friends on CR, it's mainly on my part as I mainly use this to watch anime instead of socializing. However, in the past I found it kind of easy making friends with Asians. Mostly with people in Hong Kong and various parts of Japan, a lot of it started because I always list my location. I also noted that I'm an aspiring author. So in my case, it was how I presented myself that made things easy. But in the end it was also no different than making friends with people in other parts of the world.

O_O Asians are no more difficult to friend then anyone else...

	Permalink Reply Quote Posted 1/11/12 I was once told that Asian people like to be with other Asian people, and that when confronted with foreigners or people from a different race, they would keep to themselves. But, personally I really think it depends on the approach one takes towards a person.

Unless the group of people in question didn't speak english or were simply people I wouldn't have normally been friends with anyway. Are you going out of your way to make friends with certain people just because they're asian? Because that would be annoying.
