If I wait by a street until a car going 10mph or less rolls past and i jump over the bonnet as if they've hit me, and then they get out and shout at me, does that mean they have road rage?

Not really, I tend to make other people rage, for example: if they tailgate me even when I go over the speed limit, I let go of the accelerator and start driving the speed limit just to piss them off.

I do, sort of. I wouldn't call it rage, just annoyance. A lot of annoyance.

I hate it when:
-Someone tailgates me, especially if I am already going 20 MPH above speed limit. This is especially true when they have glaring, bright lights that look like miniature suns
-People dont ****ing signal and practically go from 40 to 0 to make a stupid, sudden turn and cause me to almost rear-end them (probably the thing that angers me the most)
-They signal one way and go the other
-They signal and seem to forget about it, leaving it blinking forever
-People turn on their emergency lights to indicate that they are stopped, but STAY IN THE MIDDLE OF THE GODDAMN ROAD even though they could have easily pulled over....what the ****, learn to be considerate
-People go 45 MPH in the fast lane and slow down traffic for miles
-People block me from switching into their lane on purpose (they slow down or speed up to match my speed...)
-Pedestrians jaywalk and walk all slowly and shit
-People see me signal a turn that requires me to cross their lane, but SLOW DOWN TO A CRAWL and the cars behind them catch up so I can't turn and have to wait longer
-Parked cars back out without looking behind them first
-Idiot drivers on the freeway get too lax at the wheel and slowly drift into my lane
-Giant trucks suddenly cut in front of me
-Fools rubberneck on the freeway and slow down their cars by 15 MPH in order to look at an accident....FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
-Small pieces of debris get kicked up by the car in front of me and hit my windshield - I always think my glass will crack
-Someone stopped at a red light waits 10 seconds after it turns green to move

Yup. Most of the time, if the person who ticked me off is an easy "target", I drive up next to them, pull down my window, and throw something at them - whatever is within reach. Usually it's a coin, a cup of coffee... an egg.

I kidd about the egg.

One thing I cannot stand is tail-gating when idiot drivers drive too close to the back of your car. I drive within the speed limit, how much fucking faster do you want me to go when there are speed cameras everywhere?! Its really, really dangerous because if I have to break suddenly they will have less time to stop behind me, being a meter away! Common physics that is not enough stopping distance assholes. Also now I have the added pressure of finding a place to pull in so I can let them pass, why should I?! Its the safe thing to do but its not the right thing, because now they think they can get away with being dangerous drivers and thinking if they drive close the other car will just pull in and let them pass. Luckily they have brought in a law over here that if you tail-gate you can be reported and fined £500 HURRAH! I flicked this one guy out of my window and he backed off haha.

Didn't they turn the cameras off over there too?

Over here they've been off for 2 or 3 years by now.

Road rage is a waste of time. However, road revenge can be a sweet thing.

Coming home from my future in-law's place a few Christmases ago, I found myself coming up on someone driving erratically (going way too slow, weaving a little). Now, this was on a stretch of Interstate leading up to Monument Hill and that area gets pretty slick in winter and it was snowing. So I thought maybe the guy was having trouble keeping his pickup on the road - they have a tendency to fishtail when they hit black ice if there isn't sufficient weight in the back and if they're going too fast for conditions. I slow down, since I'm driving a little Honda Civic and I don't want to tangle with the guy and I grouse a little about idiots who can't handle winter driving in CO.

After another minute, I realize the driver isn't dealing with ice. He's drunk. Really drunk. That's when I really get pissed off. While it's tempting to let an idiot like this biff it on the icy bit of highway I know lies past Monument, I also know I can't let him take anyone else out with him.

Thankfully traffic on that Christmas night was sparse due to the storm, so I pull over, grab the cell phone and make a quick call to the State Patrol. From my experience, the CPS usually has one patrol car stationed at holidays somewhere around Monument, either as part of a scheduled patrol or as part of a speed trap. Then I wait for about five minutes, before getting back on the highway. Sure enough, five minutes down the road, not one, but THREE patrol cars have the drunk pulled over. Sometimes, when I travel that stretch of road these days, I wonder if the state troopers managed to book the guy on a DWUI severe enough to keep him off the road.

Yes, lots of times, never been in an accident or had a speeding ticket though and I've been driving since I was 15, so for 5 years.
