We call it equal rights.

Equal right to be punched regardless of what lies between your legs.

not sure if you missed my response with all the trolling but basically I said that it was a bad thing but undeserving of the OMG OMG! treatment it's getting. If military justice catches up with these guys and they pay a penalty for the crime of desecrating a corpse (it IS a crime in most western codes of military justice. not sure the taliban has a code other than 'the infidel get's what he deserves') ... anyhow if military justice catches up with these guys they'll have little sympathy from me.

on the other hand, CAIR can go fuck itself.

Read your post and I think you make a valid point.
But no matter where this incident is happening, or who's doing it, this is disgusting and unacceptable.
That is my opinion on the matter.

I've seen my share of Cadavers. They're just objects that wear the faces of people I once kinda knew. As much as any nurse knows her patients.

While I personally wouldn't treat a corpse roughly while preparing it for the morgue/funeral home and for the sake of the family would like things pretty. it's just an object, a broken down home whose owner has left.

I find it hard to get bent out of shape on a corpse's behalf when the living are still in so much pain.

A lot of things are unacceptable in life. I'm no fan of the American empire even though I'm a beneficiary of it. Of things the americans do that I worry about. a few grunts being dickheads are not high on my list. and I find the disportionate amount of outcry and attention placed on it to be ... irritating.

Things you should be more worried about are the suspension of habeus corpus and just about every other civil right in the US.

Not saying that it's a good thing or anything, but I sorta understand. These poeple are out there risking their lives, and happen to be able to kill them people before they got killed themselves... Things happen...

Why does it bother you so much?
The fact that people find this disgusting shouldn't surprise you.
Shit is happening everywhere in the world, true.
But that doesn't make this any less disgusting.

Some things, awful things, just can't be ignored.
Although it's not much, crying tears of disgust is one example that there are still good people here.

Pardon me, if I may add my humble input into this incredibly controversial thread. It is merely a reflection of my own person feelings when I say that it is not the soldiers we should be questioning, but rather the citizens of this wondrous globe who seem to have taken it upon themselves to become the judges of such a heinous act. He who is without sin, cast the first stone.

I am Morgan Freeman. Thank you for listening.
