Anything Wrong with being a geek/nerd?

I don't think your interests are what matter. What *does* matter though are social skills, which a lot of geek types lack. Sometimes that's also fine(I can't say I have the *best* social skills on the planet myself), but sometimes they can be damn annoying. Anyway, my point is that these are the reasons people think being a nerd is a negative thing. If it doesn't bother you(figurative you, not you specifically) that you can't communicate with others properly, then no, there's nothing inherently wrong with it. If there is no issue with your social skills, then I don't think most people will look down on you to begin with.

Is their anything wrong with being a nerd/geek? as for me living in the city, being a guy who likes computers and video games (on top of that being an otaku) seems as if (to people) that its wrong... In my opinion i dont give a fuck..... people are people and not everyone in the world will like you.

Even if they do I say screw them, if its anyone worth your while they can accept that much anyways.
