Shame if they went away, who'd repair game consoles and computers if those who hate couldn't fix it themselves. That's one of the reasons why my friends come to me when something messes up. I've repaired three PS3s and multiple controllers. Saves them the time and money if they had to rely on sending it out. Same goes with problems with computers. Fixing things is fun. Enjoy those things you like, and for those who hate for that fact are irrational idiots.

Absolutely not. I'm still in contact with a majority of my HS Graduating class. For the most part, it's the Geek/Nerds who are business owners, scientist, and musicians. It's the "norms" who are working 8 to 5, squeaking by. I was neither Jock or Geek in HS. My grades were a bit lower then average, but I was able to complete a 4 year degree in 2 years. (I stopped playing video games and applied myself). The Moral of this, Don't let your Otakuness Rule your life, Embrace it, but moderate it. Get your studies done, excel in school and show the norms that it's the Otaku/Geek/Nerds who posses the High iQ, the open minds, and the ability to succeed.

Me nether, because the line has been blurred with being a geek/nerd and any other type of person. I just can't tell who's who anymore, and they seem no different from anyone else. But there are some annoying ass nerd/geeks out there, who try and force you into something....well that sounds just like something a psychonut would do. Also most nerds/geeks sway one way politically and I won't say what it is. You probably know at this point.
