Jang Keun Suk says it’s not true that he appears on Gangnam Style
Jang Keun Suk recently said it’s not true that he will appear in a new drama series Gangnam Style, a drama version of the cartoon series Fashion King.
On October 24, it was reported that Jang recently decided to appear in a new drama series, Gangnam Style. However, Jang’s agency said, “It’s not true. Jang Keun Suk has never been offered a role in the series.”
Fashion King is a cartoon series of Kian84, published since 2011. It has attracted a lot of attention by frankly and comically describing today’s fashion trend.
Because a drama series of the same title aired earlier, the production company of the series changed the title to Gangnam Style. It’s scheduled to air in February next year, and the shooting will start at the end of December.
The production company says, “The new drama series Gangnam Style doesn’t have anything to do with Psy’s ‘Gangnam Style.’ Based on the popular cartoon series Fashion King, it will introduce the fashion trend of today.”
