She has the potential, and it's good that it's not the typical anime where the main characters are awalys winning. They have weakenesses and have some depth to them.

Well, the queen thingy was one of the main plot points.Yes they lose, but i bet you in the end it will say she will become queen.
With her personality i don't think she could give up or stop trying to become queen....ever!

She has learned so much about how to play the game better, and so has every member of their team. She can do it if she can stay focused on the game, but if it ever dawns on her that both Taichi and Arata love her , well then all bets are off.
