Will internet users throughout the world be banned from viewing websites that the Government has enlisted on its "blackout list" (assuming that the SOPA bill passes and becomes a law, that is)? Or is it only US internet users? Either way, I feel, after watching a lot of videos and read certain articles concerning the subject, that the bill gives the Government too much control over the internet. Some of us Anime and Manga fans say that it won't affect us, but what happens if sites like Crunchyroll and other similar ones get banned? Think of manga hosting sites, too.

Yes, and for US only I believe. Other countries have their own blocking policies.
The chance of CR being blocked right now is probably the chance of the Earth exploding in the next 5 mins.

How can crunchyroll be blocked when the material on this site has received permission to upload and share it?

In theory, Crunchyroll is absolutely 100% immune to this bill. Crunchyroll is a licensed, legal, and legitimate site, which pays royalties to the studios who produce the animes it broadcasts. Therefore, while SOPA/PIPA are awful, horrible things, this site is not one that is threatened by it.

I've just realized...I was signing petitions and shit against it, but if nothing changes for other people in other countries, bar less annoying Americans, then I think this bill is absolutely wonderful. Like really, the best creation going. Top notch shit.

theoretically CR is safe, but in theory user's posting copyrighted content could cause the site to be blacklisted. its a far stretch to say that, but both bills are so ambiguously worded, that it would be allowed.
