What do you guys think about Skrillex evolving his style into pop ?

for example

this is one of skrillex's first remixes which was never released i personally love it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ylm1QVNf6wI

then he went on to produce great tracks like
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LaIZ0mUJzr0

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CpEOErRV-u4

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WSeNSzJ2-Jw&ob=av3n

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eOofWzI3flA&ob=av2e

after that he released his latest EP which i personally love because it has the perfect mix of banger and dance music
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cR2XilcGYOo&ob=av3n

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=86khmc6y1yE

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YFyVdItksX4

those are some of his latest songs.

Now here is a preview of his next EP or maybe LP/full album

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7H1gLkxgZiQ

Don't get me wrong, this only proves that the kid is so extremely talented that he can produce music in any genre he wants, but as a fan and a DJ/Music Producer myself, it sucks to see his style rapidly evolve into a really pop-mainstream direction which i think F'ing sucks, what do you guys think ?

To tell you the truth I'm a BIG Skrillex fan. Going back to one of his first releases 'Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites','My Name Is Skrillex ect ect. This is where the love of Dubstep for me started. For him to start going to pop doesn't seem his style. The more aggressive Dubstep that he usually displays and his new Album releasing "Bangarang" on Jan 24 (which include: Bangarang, Kyoto (ft. Sirah), Right on Time, Hey Sexy Lady, Summit (ft Ellie Goulding), Father Said, Voltage (hopefully) and a bonus track "Skrillex Orchastral Suite By Varien) these were the type of music I loved from him. As for him going to pop does seem to include some form of Dubstep but it isn't his style. Porter Robinson, Feed Me, Zomboy ect. ect. get their style from skrillex because they all went mainstream along with him.

it isn't his style but judging by the preview of the next EP it sounds extremely pop-oriented lol.

there is no dubstep in the previews at all.

Well aside Dom all that I heard his new company OWSLA for his previews on 2012 the one and I mean ONE song I heard was called DADROP and that was the only headbanger I can probably get into. Other than that the others sound like something Katy perry or lady gaga would sing to. ( I wouldn't be surprised if they did lol)

Yep same here -.- their is also other artists like Porter Robinson or Ephixa (btw the trailer to Redtails that has music similar to skrillex is called Unison - Porter Robinson) but regardless that doesn't mean that pop is the only thing that'll be released. He also has songs that are gonna be good headbangers thatle be unreleased via his Mac that he tends to break every time he spills his drink on it at a concert lol so I wouldn't give up on him just yet.

The trailer to redtails is just a remix of Porter Robinson's Unison, the actual remix is by ONE OF MY FAVORITE Death Electro producers which is Knife Party.
