Tbh you try telling your body that when you bin energy shot in rage you lose selth controll so lucky the guy was not riper apart
It's the state that you go when your life's in danger you have no controll

Some of you may forget that normal people don't start following people with a group and punch them in the back of the head. If you don't want to die don't do ridiculous things to other people or they might defend themselves. The guy gave them plenty of chances to stop, so anything he did after that is fine by me.

Some people even carry concealed weapons these days, giving even more reason not to mess with anyone. I bet the kid was ready to go all out against that bully if he even looked @ him funny.

Evidence suggests otherwise.

He made a very clear effort to avoid the fight entirely.

Something that showed up on facebook that I decided to add to my wall in light of this conversation.

I don't like being guilt tripped into reposting but I was planning on reposting before got to the last line anyway so... I'll let it slide.

I'd also add another dear bully: That younger, smaller, poorer, 'helpless' victim that you outnumber may decide enough is enough, arrange to beat you to within an inch of your life, or simply bring a weapon to school and kill you with it. Don't expect the rest of us to listen to your family's protestations of innocence and cries for justice. Justice came and you got served.

BTW the arranged beating was someone else's story so I can't go into it. but it did happen. A grade school kid and his three or four buddies who treated everyone around them like insects were taken by surprise by an organized counter assault which distracted teacher supervision. Isolated the bully from his friends and then swarmed and curb stomped him.

What I find most interesting about bullies is that they are cowards. They don't go up to the toughest person around and challenge them to a fair fight. No, they and their buddies (they always have buddies) pick on the poorer, weaker, younger smaller people who are already isolated. I've got no respect for bullies.

If the bully drove the victim to the absolute edge, what could he expect?

I don't think the kid should go to jail for it. It was self-defence as far as I am aware.

Oh well, good ridance to the bully. I have zero tolerance for that.

You want to play with fire, prepare to get burned.

I’m truly at an odds here.

Though I don’t condone bullying, there’s a difference between self-defense and unreasonable force. He could've gotten away with just one or maybe even two stabs, but 12? Surely the threat had been neutralized by then.

No. notice of the twelve stabs two were fatal. When you're in fear of your life you don't count your shots you keep firing until your lizard brain the primal core of your mind that protects your well being and is sometime the root of the irrational actions performed by people with phobias. until THAT part of you is satisfied that "the threat is neutralized"

It's always sad when a person dies, but he got what he deserved.

Maybe this story will make bullies realize that bullying, in time, will make the victim so afraid that they feel the need to carry weapons and use them on you.

I grew up being bullied in middle school... so I understand the kids want to defend himself, but 12 times is excessive. They should have at least convicted him of excessive force or something. But I also understand the whole "lizard brain" thing too, so maybe the kid couldn't help himself until he felt safe. I wasn't there, so I can't say if he was enjoying it, or just scared for his life.

However thats not say that the bully didnt have it coming. You take the bull by the horns youre going to get gored at some point, so to speak. Youd think kids would learn. I feel nothing for the whining family of the bully. It's always "hes such a good kid, he didnt deserve this" he was probly a saint at home, but they aren't around him in school to witness his bullying.

I never once got beat up in school by bullies, even though they always tried to get me alone. I was really small and tiny for my age, so I ran home every day or to the coffee shop. They never did catch me. lol

In elementary school I used to hang out with bullies. I was a bully. In middle school I did for the first year, but then I got sick of it. The second year I turned against my own "friends". Challenging them to fights every time I caught them making fun of/ abusing someone. I was stabbed during one of these fights, and I won anyway. It was quite the wake up call for everyone. Needless to say. All bullying in my school ended that year.

I have the scars on my chest to prove it. I don't care if my story sounds like bullshit to you. I did my part to stop this shit while I was young. What about you?

People who are strong need to learn to stick up for the weak. Then this doesn't happen.
