If I want to manufacture something like lets say key chain charms etc, sort of on demand or in low quantities to start, how would I go about doing this?

I would like to create good high quality keychain charms, not those shit ones that break in 5minutes, but also an assortment of them...of course without spending crazy amounts of money in the beginning by ordering a minimum of like 3000 etc.

Also obviously getting it done in China would be cheapest, but also how do I find a place to do this, I also do not speak any other language but English,

Any help or guidance would help a lot.!

Thanks

Would have been easier till you mentioned China.

Foods and imports licensing have to be two of the biggest hassles in commerce.

But you really won't get anything useful here. You're looking at papers bigger than college essays. Over here we'd find an adviser within the local council, not idea about there.

Well I mean I'm just assuming its the cheapest right? otherwise fine in US...but Fairly cheap also, I don't want to be paying like $5 to make one when you can't sell it for much more than that...But if there are places in the US that do manufacture such things at good quality then I'm all for it.

I know you are using keychains only as an example, but check this site out for a moment:Custom Keychains
http://www.promotionalkeychains.biz/custom-keychains-manufacturer.html

Perhaps that will give you some ideas.

You'll likely need to partner with a company since manufacturing will almost certainly require some specialized equipment. Setting up the customization is likely not cheap so, you'll only bring the cost down by making larger lots. You can see that in the pricing at the above site.

Unfortunately, I can't help you more than this. Tracking down a manufacturing partner won't be an simple task.

honestly if most of the people on cr goes on forums, alot of people who like kdramas tend to go into business fields so that would help.

i am not in a business field so i wouldn't know much.

but i do know that you gatta invest money with certain manufacers to produce your key chains. once you got it down, you would have to get a business liscence. you gatta make sure you can sell it to the U.S. go through the tariffs and stuff. or sell it on ebay where you just send the stuff out as gifts and don't have to worry about taxes.

obviously, you gatta get advertisement of some sort.

so first of all, talk to manufacturers that can help you, your ganna have to hire people to help make a formula for rubber/plastic compounds. your ganna have to invest around.

yea basically you gatta research on your own

gatta find manufactures and developers.
open business, find people that will accept your products into there stores to sell
you gatta learn how to calculate earnings, check out T charts.
you need alot of money, so figure out how much money you need and get a loan from a firm.
