Who is the best Hedgehog?

For personality, it's Sonic. That's stayed pretty consistent throughout the comic, game, and cartoon history. I also preferred his voice actor in the original Saturday mornin cartoon series (Jaleel White) to the mess they've got going on now.

For reasoning and effectiveness, Shadow. At the time of his creation, he was actually quite an original character (after several failed attempts at robotic Sonics). I don't think he needs guns, but they're his thing.

Silver? Couldn't stand him to begin with. Naive, slow (physically), movements that have nothing to do with physics... Everything a Sonic series character is not supposed to be.
