Avoid public transport.

I used to get the bus to work every day, and I would get a couple of colds a year. Since I moved so I was within walking distance of work 4 years ago I've had one bout of flu and nothing else.

I just make sure I keep warm. Plenty of layers of clothing when I got out and it's cold

Mm true but what about vacation during the winter holidays? Airport, bus stations, etc.

Honestly, people have been raving about getting their yearly flu shots, but I haven't gotten it and STILL have NOT come down with the flu of any nature. While I see those that got the shot feel sick for a while.

Same with colds. My uncle's gf came over a few weeks back sick with a cold. She stayed overnight and obviously my uncle caught it. Me on the other hand? Nope. Not even a sniffle.

The only things I've come down with is the stomach bug (which I haven't had in ages) or a small wave of sinus infection.

So I can attribute my not getting sick to a very well adaptable immune system.

I just take Vitamin C pills Also, I make sure I keep my body temperature consistent and I always wash my hands when I know I touched something that can cause me to get sick.

Oo, what is the average amount of Vitamin C pills to take daily?

its a proven fact that vitamin c doesn't help if your sick, but can raise immunity. just make you you don't cheap out cuz the ones that are manufactured cheaply are bad for you or are likely to be.

you can't really overdose on vitamin c though if you take a jar a day that a different story, techically 2000 mg is the limit. nutritionist suggest about 600-800 mg a day. (sorry just my extimate i forgot the suggested amount but am fairly certain thats the number range plus or minus 50 mg)

my suggestion: make sure your up to dates on your shots to begin with. you prob wanna keep yourself hydrated. short showers. and keep a balanced diet in mind.

though people say vitamin c actually works, theres no really no hard evidence to that.
like i said a blanced diet, meaning all your b12, D, A's.

lol, but i gatta say. 1) vaccines have a tiny amount of the virus itself and the booster that helps your body learn how to fight it off. so getting sick from a shot is normal.
2) for not having the shot you are considered a carrier, so you might've been the reason to why you and your uncle are sick.
3) enjoy the system while it lasts.

then again your immune system might last forever.

His girlfriend gave him the cold. I did not get sick. It was just him and man was he miserable. His foul and sick mood put me in a somewhat bad mood though...

i was saying that you could have carried the virus and gave it to his girlfriend, but after rereading it. she was sick before coming over wasn't she?
