Does anyone remember this TV show a few years ago? Honestly, this is one of the best shows I've watched. It is a spinoff of Buffy of the Vampire Slayer written by the genius known as Joss Whedon.

It aired for 5 full seasons. The 6th season was cancelled:


On February 14, 2004, the WB Network announced that Angel would not be brought back for a sixth season. The one-paragraph statement indicated that the news, which had been reported by an Internet site the previous day, had been leaked well before the network intended to make its announcement. Joss Whedon posted a message on a popular fan site, The Bronze: Beta, in which he expressed his dismay and surprise, saying he was "heartbroken".


Originally, I didn't like this show as I found the theme to be a bit dull. However, after watching the episode titled "Hero" in season 1 of Angel, I got hooked onto this show. Season 3-5 were the best imo and there were occasionally crossovers between Angel/Buffy the Vampire Series.

Damn, this show brings nostalgia back to me.

I loved both Angel and Buffy The Vampire Slayer!!! The ending of Angel season 5 pissed me off so much!!! I always thought that Buffy and the other slayers would come in and kill the demons, then some people would die and some would survive!

Season 5 was probably one of my favorite seasons tbh till I heard about the cancellation announcement. I heard they were supposely to bring back Fred and Illyria as separate beings and that Wesley would not have died should the series would of continued.

I liked Angel for than Buffy. The overall plot of the series is very different. I notice most shows have one overall plot that reaches the end of the season and then it is never heard from again. With Angel, everything lead to something bigger and more interesting. There is only one part that irritates me and almost ruined the show for me. That part with Wesley and Connor in the third season was so awful. Why did Wes go to the enemy instead of trusting his friends?

I mostly enjoyed Angel because I loved the Buffy verse so much I just wanted more. Though I must say how much I HATED season 4. Jasmine... UGH. Thankfully season 5 made up for season 4 despite the ending.
