Plus, there is a slightly different storytelling aspect compared to Western media. And finally, since most anime series are rather short, the storytelling tends to be focused with relatively little filler; of course that varies a lot based on the show.

	Permalink Reply Quote Posted 1/30/12 The emotional expression and ability of anime to capture this whether raw and powerful or subtle. I have seen so many live action films and series from around the world, some live plays and even opera, often looking for something that could in some way connect with my own powerful feelings, and some could come a little close but left me wanting. Many anime ripped open real life wounds and a few have left me with tears throughout the entire show. Only anime has managed to do this.
