It looks like both Naruto and Bleach are on their final arcs! One piece is gonna be around 1000 chapters stated by oda! I honestly really like bleach, but i will admit the last arc (lost agent), was a bit of a letdown! Bleach still has so much potential though with the incorporation of the soul king! To me that is when it's truly going to get interesting if it's done right!

I have read so far into one piece and Naruto, yes, for a long long time I actually did enjoy both but after a while it got repetitive and I've stopped.

A bleach fan, saying One Piece is repetitive?
I can't...

Only a person who hasn't read One Piece would say that.
And no, don't pretend that you did.

there is much strategy to the story.

What in the...

But to go as far as to call Tite Kubo a "Flop Mangaka" I would have to disagree. He has an amazing talent for story and character development and to be able to create this world, with it's immense language and traditions, showcases his talent. I'm sure if he was a "Flop Mangaka" as you so said, he wouldn't have the following he does.

He was a hit. But not anymore.
Have you seen his manga sales lately? And the Bleach anime doesn't even show up in the top TV ratings anymore.
People grew tired of its repetitiveness and this "talented" Tite Kubo is just milking it.

In One Piece and Naruto, characters actually die.
There is obvious character development and you can see the depth in the story.

What does Bleach offer? Cool art, I'll give Tite Kubo that.
But what else?

Believe me, I have read Bleach since I started my anime and manga life
and reached the part where Ichigo tries to gain his powers back. I dropped it a few chapters later
because like most people, I found it repetitive.
Bleach used to be one of my faves too, until the Arrancar arc was dragged to death.

The first story arc was golden, though.

Anyyyyyyway, we are fans of different anime.
It's almost impossible to agree on something.

I'll just end this with a kiss before I start flaming you.
If you have any problems with my post, PM me. We'll talk there.

xoxo

I wish Bleach ended when he saved Rukia. It's only my favourite anime/manga because of those first two arcs.

30 volumes!?
OMG he's really that desperate. There is no way he can make a single arc last 30 volumes long.
What is he gonna do? Write chapters with nothing but purrty art in it?

I hope they continue it, I prefer it to Naruto easily. Would be a shame to see it end.

I'm pretty skeptical of that as well. I wonder how he's going to do 30 chapters?
When you really look at it, what else could he possibly come up with?

I TOTALLY agree with you here!.. but i havnt read/ watched one piece yet.. so i cant comment on anything about that..

yeah.. i have to agree with you there in some points.. bleach does kinda drag on a bit in some spots, espically the arrancar ark...and the character are more in depth and grow more,, etc in Naruto cause they die like you said...my fav anime is Naruto Shiipuden,, then bleach would have to be my second

I don't mean to be rude, but Bleach is definitely the most repetitive anime I have watched in my entire life next to Fairy Tail. Character development to me was almost non-existent. One Piece and Naruto never felt repetitive to me. Whatever like you said we are all different and enjoy different things. I'm glad a Bleach fan actually explained themselves. I only gave up Bleach recently though...

A while back I had the good fortune to be be present when Tite Kubo was on stage for a Bleach panel stateside. If I'm not mistaken it was his first public appearance in the US.

Listening to him speak at the panel made me realize he's got a good grasp of everything he's done and where his story is going. For example:

That's just one example which says, to me, he's not just pulling stuff out of thin air without any intention of returning to it. Even though I'm a big fan of Bleach I will be honest and say that, often times, it really does feel that way.

Someone also asked him when he first found out he had so many fans in America. Tite Kubo's response was, "Yesterday." Funny guy.

I've tried getting into Naruto but was never able to really enjoy any of the characters, with the exception of maybe Jariya. I've tried watching a few episodes of the anime here on CR. Its a good anime/manga but I've just never found myself wanting to go back to it regularly. As for One Piece, don't like the art, never read it. Not saying its bad, I just don't like it.

If Bleach wasn't so popular, it probably would have been cancelled a long time ago. That's what happens to other manga. I have also enjoyed Bleach more than One Piece and Naruto, even though I'm a hardcore fan of both. Bleach just had that different side to it. Luffy has his awesome adventures in the world. Naruto wants to be Hokage and is working his way up there becoming a great ninja and all. Ichigo just fights for what he wants to protect. Each have their individual qualities which make them good.

I also thought that Bleach should have ended after the Arrancar arc. It had a big sense of closure. Just like how I think Naruto should end after this arc because everything seems to be wrapping up. Anyway, In Bleach, I felt quite a few things were left blank, and it wouldn't be right reading a story that ends with so many blanks. I want to know more about Isshin Kurosaki, when he was a soul reaper. Kenpachi needs some back story as well. His history was too vague, seeing how he has a zanpakuto with no powers. There's also the "king" which Aizen was so obsessed over, and that other part of soul society, where some soul reapers, such as captains, like Hikifune, are taken to. So much I want to know, and I hope this final arc covers them all. Depending on the anime, the arcs can be composed of up to many parts. Like Yu-Gi-Oh! GX's 3rd season, Yubel's arc, it was about 3-4 parts before ending, but I'm just saying.

I strongly recommend at least trying One Piece despite it's art (Which doesn't seem that bad to me). I used to feel the same way about One Piece until I tried reading/watching it out of curiosity.

Aw. D': That's sad. I actually really liked Bleach until I got too lazy to keep up with it.
