I would shit my pants if Korea ever adapted Flowers of Evil into an anime.
Deep Love has also never been made into anime. It has a j-drama and a live action movie though. |

You better change pants, though it is Japan, not Korea that is doing it. From the Spring 2013 season thread: Aku no Hana (Flowers of Evil) Premiere: Friday, April 5, 2013 @ 10:00 PM Network: Animax Studio: ZEXCS As for me, Nisekoi is the newest one on my list. I have recently started reading the manga and it is a ton of fun. But the big one, which is probably a long shot to ever be adapted due to music licensing costs: Sayonara Piano Sonata It is originally a light novel series and the manga was short changed and only given about 16 chapters, finishing the first volume of the light novels, but I think it still qualifies. The problem is that they use a ton of copyrighted rock songs in the story, and they are essential to the plot, so there is no way to replace them with some generic rock song written specially for the show. For instance, Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide the main character plays the Beatles song "Blackbird" at a pivotal point in the first volume, using it to convince Mafuyu to join their club, and band. In the second volume, when she has officially joined the club, she is chosen to name the band. The name she chooses is the Hungarian word for "Blackbird", which the main character doesn't figure out until near the end of the book, but when he does, he knows more about how she feels about him. When the crowd calls for an encore at their first live concert, the band leader tells them that there is only one song that they can do as an encore and sends the main character and Mafuyu out by themselves, just the lead guitar and bass player/male vocalist, to do the song as their encore. |
