Not Applicable, since I have standards, and would never get with anyone that intolerant of my main hobby in the first place.

@Op. No offense but you need to come up with something better than "No." Making a thread means initiating the discussion. A 2 letter word isn't initiating worthy.

My opinion is thou, I wouldn't care and I would still watch anime when she isn't around tbh.

haha, very cynical. i am to. what concerns me for no is what is the no directed toward. i can guess it, but it can lead to no "you can't break up with me."

i agree with your answer, hide it. if i were to go out with someone that means that i actually like the person to be with them. so if they are irritated by one quality, does't mean that imma dump your ass. you will always hate one of their qualities, so you can expect the same towards yourself.

i'd prob go wtih a cheesy line and say, you like __________ and i don't like it to much, but i know it means alot to you so i try not to say much of it. anime is just as important to me as ________________ is to you. if this is important to you than i guess i can cut back on it a bit.

if that works, cut back and slowly add on when the tension loosens up.

but, i usually try not to watch anime around her. don't want it to be a problem to begin with. i am dating them doesn't mean i am with them 24/7 unless there a series she wants to watch with me. but not the scenario.

If I had a boyfriend who said that, I'd only come to the conclusion that he's a selfish and worthless bastard. I don't broadcast to everyone that I like watching anime, but if my non-existent boyfriend were to find out and then demand I stop watching them, I'd dump him.

"okay if it means that much to you i'll stop watching anime"
"you mean it"
"no"

Slap them or something haha! Well not really but that is a ridiculous ultimatum! I mean... what if they like playing MW3, and I said the same thing to them? Of course they would be mad. Besides, you can't really just stop liking something :]

I'd say mind your business. Why would it bother him/her anyway? Are they that easily bothered? lol

That person obviously doesn't accept you as you are. Anyone who wants to change you for selfish reasons should be dropped like a bad habit.
