Sure, I'm Black.
Even though anime isn't aimed toward people of African decent (as in, past 10 generations or so), I do think it appeals to us, too. There are more Black characters now! Bleach, Durarara and Naruto Shippuden all have several Black leads now. And other shows at least have us in backgrounds or as minor characters. Cosplaying will be a little easier.

I'm going to hit "Yes" even though I'm not black. The poll doesn't ask if you're black- it asks if black people are here. Btw what's up with the "african american" thing? I don't have people go around saying "Hey look there's a West European American!". It's just weird and feels overly political correct. You can say black without having people mad at you >_>
