The Most Disturbing anime you have seen?
|
So, everyone, what is the most gruesome, disturbing, anime you have seen? You can include OVAs too [and hentai] - i.e. well night shift nurses--- yuck. I've heard enough about it that I have decided I'm gonna watch it when I'm 18. Or maybe in the next year or so. Then maybe I won't throw up.... EDIT : I have found censored versions of NSN on YouTube but I miiight wanna see the uncensored version... it feels like my curiousity might get the best of me...
Has it affected you in any way? Have you had nightmares about it? |

Eiken. too much of a good thing becomes a bad thing.
Higurashi no naku koro ni. extremely disturbing. and awesome. Monster. wow, now there's a creepy twisted storyline. most other stuff that tries to be creepy just bores me. like Gantz, with it's gushing pools of blood. meh, whatever. the characters were so obviously molded into certain stereotypes that i couldn't actually care about them. by the 80% mark, when they started killing off the main heroes, i was just like "eh, whatever. they're all as deep as a sheet of paper anyways." Edit: or did you simply mean the most gore-splattered goo-fest imaginable? i always find those to just be stupid, most of the time. "oh, hey, they must've gotten the bulk discount on red paint for this show!" |

On a similar thread on anime forum site, I said Boku no Pico. So, I guess my answer is still that.

I watched School days and Higurashi and didn't find them that bad at all. Probably because I was prepared and that I had already seen Elfen Lied. I would say Elfen Lied's first episode caught my friends and I off guard.

Is it me or does this thread seem a bit related to: "What's the most Craziest/creepiest anime you have ever seen?"
Funny, how they're both on the same front page as well. |

Summer's here. That means anime, manga, and all that other good stuff

Shugo Chara. Seriously, what's up with the guy who keeps hitting on the ten year old. Seriously. That's disgusting.
