Say's the guy that lives in a fucking village. Bloody inbreeds...

Inbreds? Daaaan Stoke? Nah mate, you're on about Derby.

My "village" could start a riot in another city and come out victorious.

Derby's full of sheep fuckers, definitely not inbreds.
And I can't really argue with the latter. Nottingham has one of the highest crime rates, but turns out they are quite shit when it comes to rioting :/

I was trying to make a point that Stoke is full of thousands of 'ard midde-aged manual laborers, but that works too.

Lol, I was just making a different point completely, 'cause I know nothing about Stoke.

As far as I can tell, political correctness is a way for a small minority of people to impose their agenda on the rest of us. It tends to be used to try to shut down debate (for example, if you aren't in favour of mass immigration you're labelled a racist and basically bullied into keeping your mouth shut.)

I've also noticed that a lot of the politically correct stuff comes from white, middle class people who have decided that a given minority is offended by something. I remember reading an article a few years ago where a council (made up of mainly white, middle class people) decided that Muslims would be offended by something (I think it was nativity plays or something to that effect.) When interviewed, Muslims in the area basically said they didn't really care, but it suited the council's agenda to make out that it was horribly offensive to them.

I couldn't care less about political correctness, try and do that all the time and it gets boring anyways, though there are a few things that you shouldn't say around some people, like your boss or girlfriend in order to protect your job and personal safety

whatever. the only PC i'm interested in is the one i'm sitting in front of now.

like what maffoo said, i think it's mainly just a bunch of over-sensitive white people decide -might- be offensive to some other group. then they try to force us into behaving whatever way they consider "proper".

t'hell with that. i don't really need you telling me how to act. i can be polite and tactful all on my own, thanks very much.
... assuming that i want to in the first place.

What's a cheesestake? Is it a cheese and a mistake mixed together? 'Cause that'll be promoting inter-special sex, which is very politically wrong.

Don't care..Most people who overly worry about it are the ones with issues. It irritates me when people call me African African...I was born in America!! Geeze!

I don't care about mail carrier instead of mailman. I use fireman, mailman, etc. The only time I use political correct terms is when I'm pissed off or annoyed at some bigoted person. The more angry, I get the more proper and polite I get. so political correct terms tend to fly out.

And the worst thing you can do is correct me....just don't.

Political Correctness = Contradicts the right of free speech.

That is my opinion. I also think it is for followers. Thank God I was raised by a mom who told me to rise above being a follower because I am a natural born leader.

Which in turn will make you political correct once you've become a political leader.

Yeeeeah, you missed the entire point of my post. I am not talking about being a natural born leader in being politically correct or politics in general.
