My bro talks in his sleep. Just the other day, when I tried to wake him up:

Me: Hey Bubby, get up.
Bro: That's a nice picture...
Me: ... What?
Bro: In the middle, of the phonebook...
Me: ??
Bro: It's the shape of the cape.
Me: *dies laughing*

I used to walk in my sleep, and my mom said it was creepy when I'd walk out into the living room in the middle of the night and just stare at her blankly. Like something out of a horror movie XD

I have walked and talked in my sleep since I was a little girl. Once, I guess I walked into my parents room and started saying "I want dustadeestain" over and over. Whenever the topic of my sleep talking comes up my mother always complains that I could never tell her what "dustadeestain" was. I have no recollection what I was dreaming of or even a clue as to what that could possibly be.

My sister told me one day, "Record me going to bed [walking from the living room to the bedroom] because I can never remember how I get there."
I said, "Okay." So I waited for her to fall asleep, then I when she woke up I said, "Do you want me to record you?"
She replied, "No, don't record me; I'm not tired."
So I thought, "Oh, she's conscious right now; there's no point in recording her since she'll remember."
The following morning she wakes up, "Did you record me?"
I told her no and explained what happened.
Then she yelled at me, "DON'T LISTEN TO ME! I WAS TIRED!"
I didn't know I'd get yelled at D': She told me not to record D':

Haha! I used to in college. Usually during high-stress times, like preparing for final exams. Strangely enough, as I am a light sleeper, I would wake up in the middle of my sleep-talking, confused and wondering what I was trying to say next.

I asked my roommates if I was sleep-talking the night before, and they would say yes, but what I had said was totally confusing. From what they have told me, once I was talking about "the first chapter of the water," and another time I was saying something about "playing golf in zero gravity."

As far as I know, I haven't talked in my sleep since.

My wife tells me that i will occasionally start speaking korean and/or japanese in my sleep, saying things with great emphasis as if trying to tell her something of dire importance. I never remember these conversations, but after a while she stopped trying to figure out what i was trying to tell her. Now i get woken up with a fist to the ribs every now and then, and she claims it was me talking in asian gibberish again.

The thing is, i can understand spoken korean and japanese, but i cant speak it with any effluancy. I think she just likes to hit me.

Also, I suffer chronic pain in my face, and take heavy narcotics 24/7 to manage it. Sometimes, my drugs start to lose effectiveness while i am sleeping, and i slip into these horrific nightmares themed around destroying/mutilating my lower jaw in various ways. I will start to moan in my sleep from the pain, but eventually i get locked/trapped in my subconcious and start to attempt the waking up thing.

This usually fails, with me clawing at the inside of my mind with the chipped and shredded remains of my fingernails. Then i graduate from moaning to asking for help, then yelling for help, then screaming at the top of my lungs in a Very loud blood-curdling fashion for anyone to please help me escape from my hellacious, never ending torment.

Feaked my mom out last time i visited, as i was napping on the couch.

Also, everytime we move (military moves us every few years), the nieghbors take a while to realise i am not ax-murdering squirrels and/or small children as my emanations can frequently be heard outside the walls of our houses.

Apparently one night I asked where they pie was, even though there wasn't any pie. I don't usually talk in my sleep but I guess it might be because I have wacky dreams.
On another note, my sister does this really annoying thing where she laughs in her sleep. I always end up asking what's so funny but she never answers. I'm still getting used to it because it only started fairly recently but it's so weird. I wish I dreamed about things that are funny enough to make me laugh in my sleep.

I don't think I do. No one has ever told me I've said anything, but I've been around other who do. My mom does. One time my cousin came to visit when I was about 11, and we all had a big sleep over in the living room and my mom slept on the couch and she scared the crap out of us. She sat straight up and started punching the air and talking about some dude attacking and he was wearing pink or something. No clue. After she laid back down she slept with an eye open... awkwardddd.

Some years back one of my friends was sleeping over and stayed up late to play games and apparently in my sleep I rolled over and said "Gouge their hearts and rip out their throats" It must have been one awesome dream.

We were sleeping in a tent for my best friend's sleep over when we were kids, and when her brother came around to scare us in the middle of the night, my other friend who shall remain nameless sat up and said "NOO TEJAS!" Clear as day. Which just so happened to be her favorite mexican food restaurant, and she was a slightly pudgy girl. We never could convince her that she actually said it, but she did!

Also a friend of mine crashed drunk at my house in college, and when we tried to move him off the bed to the couch, he sat up and pointed his finger at us all accusingly and said "Just put...the bible...DOWN" and laid back down. He was a big guy, we had to leave him be, because apparently he thought we were the local religious organization, coming to convert him.
