This is where your artworks will be criticized, don't be afraid to show your talents. As of now, there no critiques so instead the AC Crew are available to critique your works. Of course, we will be fair and no favoritism. We accept any of art-related here ^^ You don't have to feel insecure whether you did ok or not. We will try to help you out. I just made this up when I saw someone from a forum where she is indeed an incredible critic ^^ I wish you all luck.

Description: I was coloring, and I just need some critics, Yeah I know that the hair is not that good, I'm working on that.
Time it took you: like an hour and a half.
In your point view, How would you rank your artwork? Why?
An 8; because the skirt color is too bright, and the hair don't really have much details in it. I should have removed the shiny sparkles.
What would you had done or added but you decided not to? Why? I was going to re-add the background, but I had the hair colored everywhere. And I was going to add the lump shiny areas on the cheeks and stuff, but I didn't know what to make it look realistic.
Were you inspired or bored, when you made this? I was inspired by Hannah with the way she colored, but I got lost when I did the hair part. XD

Hey Sally,

Well the hair need some work though. I'm not an expert in coloring so I do apologize^^ It is really difficult to work on the hair if you ask me. I don't how those people do it. The wings should had been a bit lighter color. The skirt and top colors doesn't go well together. Maybe like change it to the colors that contrasts well together? Because for me green and pink is not well suited for each other. All in all the shading needs work and there are many shading tutorials in deviantart. I don't if you know ipaos of crunchyroll & deviantart but she is a professional in shading especially hair.

Hey Cassie,

Sorry for the lateness! I don't know if you still wanna hear my critique so I hope you do^^~ Well as I could see is this your first time using pngs? I like the colors you mainly used and besides the red screen was a nice touch btw. Maybe a different font next time? Because it just doesn't fit right imo. PNGs are very easy to use but difficult to place where in the graphic. It is mainly use for Collages and Blends as I've seen from deviantart. It is well-done but it seems empty? Maybe if you make the main pictures smaller also CL & 2ne1, after that use some bunch of pngs that could fit very well for the theme that you wanted to show. One thing I thought of is that Summer & Chic. Also It doesn't need to be amazing as you said because you have your own significant style and don't change it, just improve it.

Thank You:). I've used png's for a while but I'm more of a brush girl lol. I still have a lot to learn with them. On that one I used a collage texture. I'll be sure to look out for those things next time.

Your welcome, Cass :3 I see well I hope to see your new collages soon! Deviantart is very helpful and also if you befriended some artists along the way there maybe they'll teach you their know-how too.

Description: Well, I wanted a more vintage but less colorful edit. I used to like very colorful luminescent edits, but I got the urge to make a more sullen (?) one.
Time it took you: About 30 minutes to an hour. I honestly did not keep track of time.
In your point view, How would you rank your artwork? Why? Well, I would honestly give myself a 8. I really liked this concept, so maybe I'm just being biased.
What would you had done or added but you decided not to? Why? I wished I added more textures, or perhaps a pop of coloring
Were you inspired or bored, when you made this? Bored, but I guess I was trying to do something similar to edits I find on tumblr. I wasn't trying to copy, but almost recreate that style in my own perspective.

Hey Tracy,

Wow I really love it! You should continue doing graphics with same style, but maybe like improvising along the way. Though there a somethings I think I don't like with it. Like how both has this blurry 3D effect? I would advice to make one with that effect and the other model with none. It makes the emphasis of the graphic, you have make it both models have their own effect. It's like putting a C4D into a cute anime picture then playing with the filters and adjustments.Voila! You get something really unique and interesting at the same time. The text placements are okay, but not okay. The first banner, where text are around the sides seems unnoticeable, which I mistook for being a part of the texture itself and the second banner, where the "Focus" seems to out of place in my opinion. All in all, I love the concept of the whole thing and maybe watch out for the effects and fonts in the future. This is just 1st step in making through and experiment a bunch of times also practice. You should try to come out of your comfort zone every once in while, because It's really important for you learn from it and improve it. Copying is always been a part of art community and it's not really okay in some way, but we can't avoid it. However, if improving it and maybe putting in your ideas also adding some alterations in it, is considered being resourceful and creative.

Thanks for the critique! ^^ I'll try to improve on the transition effects with the banners, since I'm always too lazy to ever really improve on that. And you are right about the text, I didn't really feel that the "Focus" text was really in the right place. But, I really had no idea where else to put it. The second banner was already very clumped up together, so I also had no idea what to do with that. :/ Text has always been my weak point. Do you recommend any fonts? And I'll take your advice about experimenting. It just seems like every style has already been claimed, so I'm kinda stuck when it comes to that. >< It doesn't hurt to try, right? I kinda felt like I was copying when I made this edit, because there were already so many edits that were similar in design/concept that I have seen before. It was a very guilty feeling, y'know? I didn't want the image to spread and then someone ranting about me copying their edits. OTL I honestly tried to fix it so it seems a little different. Anyway, thanks again. ^^

Your most welcome! I'm sure you'll improve in no time just keep on practicing and experimenting, also I'm lazy too so only when I get those "I have an idea moments", I'll make a graphic based on that Idea I got xD Don't worry about the styles and such just learn from them and improvise on your own, so you'll have a different yet unique product. I like using negative space and textures also gradient overlays all the time xD
