well... It doesn't have to be your parents...
Parents just an example I gave to you guys...I mean I LOVE my parents so much..-_-"
They even called me an Angst filled Teenager . . .*sigh*
Specifically, the "adults" I mean here is my teacher who taught me in my university..-_-"
Well... this teacher doesn't want to admit his/her mistakes when he taught us a wrong formula on a statistic subject which is causing us, the students, a really great impact on our grades...-_-"
Well, I'm sorry if my posting has offended some of the adults here...But I don't mean it...
I can't really express it in english since I'm not really good at it...So, I think I'll explain as simple as possible so it won't lead to another misunderstanding...
Once again, I'm sorry if most of the adults here are offended of my posting and getting agitated about it...:)
I'll reflect about my mistakes that has been causing an unfriendly arguement here...:)
I'll try to explain better next time..:)

I didn't see any unfriendly arguments or agitation here, just a smattering of opinions on (adult) self-centeredness. I'll assume it was the language barrier and not that you expected everyone to agree screaming "yeah adults are so self-centered, with their convenient rules and such" (because that would be rather self-centered of you ).

Teachers can get things wrong. Sometimes they may not remember they got it wrong, or they could be trying to hide it with dishonesty (everyone does these things sometimes). You should always verify what you are taught instead of taking it at face value anyway.

Adults may be self-centered, but I'm quite confident that anyone born in 1992 and onwards are functionally retarded, selfish little pricks.

Both adults and teens can be annoying and self-centered. But a lot of adults refuse to listen to teenager's opinions and sau stuff like "oh your just a teen. what would you know?" when actually a lot of teenagers are very mature and intelligent and have very valid opinions on things.

I have the answer to your question. Get over yourself. You sound like the million other kiddies who thinks the worlds against them. Word to the wise, you better do everything you can now, while you still know everything there is to know.

I'm (supposedly) and adult, I'm self-centered but as of yet I haven't found a good reason not to be. When I was younger my parents couldn't come up with a good argument against being selfish and had to concede that it's a matter of motive, sure I help people but some times I have ulterior motive beyond offering straight help, and from what I've seen, most people do as well.

On changing the rules, people in general do this, a child gets a ball for their birthday, they play with their friends using the ball, but they get excluded after a while, so they change the rules so that they don't get excluded or no one gets to play with the ball, that's just part of human nature.

I could explain how the whole concept/idea came about using psychology and astrology. Adults are usually just better at getting their way and getting things done.

As for being self-centered, young children and teenagers go through such phases as well.

It's hard to answer this because everyone's different. I think everything has extremes and a medium. There are adults who are self-centered and those who aren't. For one to view adults in general as being self-centered or not would depend on their set of life experiences and the way that they perceive things [in my opinion].
