I'd like to begin with saying that I am using my psvita to type this up.
After playing with it for a couple hours, I noticed you could purchase anime series from the playstation store app that came preinstalled, however I cannot stream anything via youtube.com or crunchyroll leading me to believe that there is little to no support for either, but streaming put aside, the vita is able to load pages well. That's the disappointing part considering that the vita has a beautiful oled screen, I was wondering if the team of crunchyroll has any interest for support for the vita when any kind of html or flash support arises.

aside from everything you are mentioning specifically on this post, my question is. Is the ps vita worth buying and would you prefer the 3g or wifi version. Why should I buy one? since it seems that you own one I would like to know if you would recommend such a device?

I would honestly wait a year or so mainly because most console developers now have a habit of re-releasing a portable console with better features (extended battery life, better library of games, etc etc)

Its up to you. Right now I don't think its worth the purchase price because of the lack of games towards it. (The ones that are out got pretty bad reviews)

I heard the wi-fi search thing is pretty cool though. It lets you see all PSN activity in a 6 KM radius from where you are playing your vita. Which is both creepy and cool.

Whoa, really? That's awesome! I had no idea they even did that.

In terms of the 3G vs. WiFi - I'd stick with the WiFi. I'm not sure how it is in other countries, but in the U.S. it's almost a complete rip-off to get the 3G bundle. Sure, you get an 8gb memory card, free month of service, and a "free" game, but here's the catch: You have to buy a month of service, before you get the free month. Make any sense? Not really. Next, to get your free game (which I believe is Super Stardust Delta, a fantastic game) you have to wait until the end of that free month. Sort of a bad deal, in my opinion.

Either way, a Vita is a Vita - you can't really go wrong with it.
