Does the time come up or is it -- / -- ?

Also, I need to get the Video Help updated.

If it is -- / -- Can you please rerun test 5.1 with the following:

With test 5.1 can you please use cp150757.edgefcs.net
Instead of crunchy.fcod.llnwd.net

Thanks

It looks like everything should be running fine.

Let's try changing your DNS to see if that resolves the issue. You can find complete instructions on how to change your DNS by using OpenDNS.com's https://store.opendns.com/setup/ all encompasing guide. If this doesn't seem to help, you can try Google's Public DNS http://code.google.com/speed/public-dns/ .

Hmm....

Can you humor me?
Would you try uninstalling and reinstalling Chrome to see if that resolves the issue?

Using a Vizio TV here and the built-in app to access Crunchyroll videos direct-to-TV. For the last couple days none work. Trying other videos from other sources using the same app (for example, the PBS channel) videos work fine. This is a new problem and appears to be only with Crunchyroll. Nothing with our TV setup has changed unless Vizio itself broke the Crunchyroll feed with an automatic update..

Just tried watching a video online with a PC - that works fine - so connectivity between the Crunchyroll feed and our internal LAN is fine.

full Uninstall and Reinstall of Google Chrome did not fix the problem. however i noticed when i tryed to watch a video but didnt sign in that the advertisements loaded normally. however after the advertisement the video maintained its pattern of the player loading but reamaining --:--/--:--

I normally dont get adverts due to the membership status so i didnt know they still worked.

Considering that... im even more confused as to what is causing this problem.... i could not begin to guess what is causing this.... It makes no sense at all....

at least IE works but its so much slower than Chrome on most sites so i do very much prefer Chrome. untill all this started i had not opened IE once in several months.

Maybe it is the current version of flash.. Since Google Chrome has it intragrated it auto-updates and is the most current version.

the version on IE however is the Plugin version and is slightly out of date..

Just an FYI - another user using a "Western Digital" is reporting the same problem as I am having with a Vizio TV over on the Flingo forum: http://flingo.org/forum/viewtopic.php?id=963 so it appears users are beginning to notice this, signing up on relevant forums (...), and reporting the problem.

HA!

disabled the built-in and up-to-date version of flash in Chrome and enabled the older plug-in based one IE uses..

Video loaded. and plays normally...

Disabling the Plug-in version and trying to run the Built-in Flash Player went back to it not working again.

so the problem is definitely the most current version of flash for what ever reason >.>

i guess for now i will run the older version of flash until this odd problem gets sorted out..

EDIT------

sound stutters pretty badly i should mention..

To the Support person working this problem; the previous user has apparently resolved his/her problem however please note that this thread is addressing more than one user's problem now (!)...so don't ignore us while celebrating the OP's success!

A quick followup - the Crunchyroll channel has been removed from the Web Videos app. Can we assume someone is working on this problem either at Crunchyroll or Flingo or both?

Gonna close and lock this & update the Roku / VIA thread to be WD as well.

This is a known issue and we're working with Flingo currently to resolve.
