I was surprised when I saw this picture. He looks really similar to Toshiro.

Hmm, I think it's pretty close. This guy would just have to be a bit older, and move the side fringe/bangs to the middle. Otherwise I think you're right XD

Wow..that's quite accurate indeed - it's just the eyes that aren't, he needs more sophistication, pain, and determination in his eyes - and that would be it.

I think this one fits the bill. Hijikata is Japanese so this face seems more accurate than the other one.
