crash1187 17035 cr points Send Message: 23 / M / Arizona Online	Permalink Reply Quote Posted 8/21/12 ive never gotten into any MMOs, i bought the first guild wars when it was on sale on steam for something like 5 bucks.... but this game actually looks really good. im looking at pre ordering it if i find people that i can actually play with...... someone should start a thread on here for everyone thats gonna play it so we can all play together.... or we could prolly \just use this thread.... then we just need a vent server or something

This is the same guy that talked me into wow and then told me to hit cap in before he would play with me but to hell with it, that probably won't be an issue in this game. I have another friend online that did everything in GW1 and qualifies for all the GW2 bonus stuff, but she isn't picking up the game. Kind of funny.

crash1187 17035 cr points Send Message: 23 / M / Arizona Online	Permalink Reply Quote Posted 8/23/12 my computer is in the middle of installing it right now... im debating if i want a guy or a girl character... and the only race i really have any desire to play (long term at least) is human... idk if they put it into the game but norn and charr just look like theyd be slow, sylvari remind me of tree huggers, but the asura do kinda look like theyd be fun... i will probably make a charr at some point and an asura tho

Once I make my character I'll post my name and whatever else if anyone wants to join. I'll prolly go onto that dragon band server. Simply because that's the one I assume everyone on here( or at least a lot of people from CR) will be on. Mainly because that was the I ly server I've seen posted here.

I rolled a Mesmer and found the class interesting, but I wasn't really having fun. Fast forward to today where I installed it on a whim since it's opening weekend. Love it. Obviously, I must have just not liked Mesmer very much in beta because playing a different class now and I'm enjoying the hell outta the new class. Also runs a ton better now that it's actually optimized. What I find strange is that I don't feel compelled to level quickly. Playing the game as it is and exploring all the areas and quests is really fun in itself.
