Surely people here on Crunchyroll still play GW2 (I hope)! I bought the game in September of this year; being a MMO newbie I prefer to solo and learn everything on my own for now.

I'm located on the Kaineng server, but feel free to add me or I could add you if you want; either way works. I don't mind teaming up at times, especially difficult Group Events that I cannot solo and eventually dungeons. Send me a message on here (CR) or in-game so I know who you are.

I hope to meet fellow players on GW2 from CR

Bought it a few days ago

Looking forward to WvW. Played it for a little while with a Guardian on my side. Learned the basics from him when we took a tower together. Then we got zerged. I'm definitely going Condition Damage + Vitality on this guy. Vitality being the most important on my Necro I think, considering its vast health pool (Highest in game? 50,000? That's double of what all the other classes got. Plus a 30 second immortality mode.) Loving the Necro, indeed.

I have no idea what server I'm playing on. Don't care to look it up. But it's located in Europe. And the population is full.

There's no great endgame like GW1 had. That's what turned off alot of the people who played pvp in GW1 from continuing with GW2. If you were new at gw2, it's not bad (PvE at least), but it's a big step down from GW1.

At least that's how I destroy zergs.

WvW in this game is real shitty. None who plays it know tactics. Many of them are on TeamSpeak, too, yet they can't position themselves properly during clashes. You'll find zergs going crazy, in the middle of rooms instead of trying to get the high ground, lure their opponents into narrow spaces or sandwiching each other.

And the final outcome for conquering the entire world gets you nothing. Except perhaps a lousy achievement point, if that. And as soon as you take a break, your opponents can take everything back again, so you lose it as soon as you get it, unless you defend it rigorously. There's also a limit to how many people can be in these worlds.

I miss Lineage 2 where Mass PVP and Castle Sieges were epic. Where, once you took over a castle you got to keep it for two whole weeks until you had to defend it again from players who wanted to take it from you. And while you owned the castle you got the tax income that the players spent in the city you owned, and got to produce things for your guild members that others couldn't. Too bad game developers today loath the idea of giving their game a purpose.

I'm looking for help with random champions, group events, dungeons, etc.

I might create a guild for that purpose; my current guild seems uninterested with fighting random champions and group events.
