I don't feel comfortable reading manga or other books with others. I like to really get into what I'm reading and I react a lot to what is happening in the story. So sometimes when I'm reading I'd just burst out laughing, or yelling no, or something like that. Since I react so strongly to what I read, I wouldn't feel comfortable with a person standing next to me and seeing that Also some parts in the manga i read tend to have some obscene things in it, so that would only make it even more uncomfortable to have another person reading with me. |

I hate reading with other people because its uncomfortable to be reading something so close to eachother. and different reading speeds is the biggest problem

I actually like to read manga with someone. Usually that someone is my boyfriend but we never actually sit and read from the same page at the same time. Mostly it consists of us reading at our own paces (I use the computer and he uses an iPod). It's really fun to do. We always discuss what we like about it, what we don't like, and drawing styles. It helps to get someone else's opinion on these things and it often leads to a deep discussion lol.
Unless I'm reading shounen ai or yaoi...then I read that all alone to myself LOL |

Ive read manga with my brothers never had a problem with it i like to invite them and show them a really awesome or funny moment ive read i have had a problem with being hovered over it can be kinda annoying but that has nothing to do with manga |

Yep, I'm completely comfortable reading manga with other people around me. They usually try to distract me when I read manga by talking to me but fail. I'm also comfortable reading err... hentai/ecchi/smut manga even if there are strangers.
Or maybe I'm just naturally shameless. xD;

I read manga in the subway so I'm cool with strangers. If they want to peak at what I'm reading they can go right ahead. It's nothing illegal so it doesn't matter what they think of it.
I'm also comfortable with reading it with specific individuals, like my Domo Doll |

ill happly read manga with my friends, hell i normally read my yaoi and yuri mangas with my friends though we get told to shut the fuck up most of the time cause were either laughing to loud or reading everything out loud xD

Personally I dont mind reading manga in a crowded room. with people next to me. I am an out spoken Otaku. I love manga and not afraid to say it. Do to this i have ammased several friends at work, who were than the reserved type who read and watched anime alone. Now on lunch we read a chapter of our weekly manga and discuss it with the others of the group. So yeah i dont mind reading manga with others around.
