Doesn't count as anime or manga I guess but its heavily influenced by it, Questionable Content's Momo would be my first choice. Why? because unlike most anime robots she doesn't have the mental maturity of a 5 year old and needs to be taught how to put her clothes on. Plus she's actually fun to talk to.

I think anyone who has seen Chobits will say yes. So, yes. Probably not Chii though. If I could turn Kenade from Angel Beats into an android, I totally would. She'd be my best friend (love for spicy food, quiet, sort of a-social, music).
