Do you have any other symptoms when you have chest pains?

My most recent one wasn't as terrible as the others. It was just a random sharp pain through the chest, but that's all I can remember. It just feels like you want to breathe, but then you can't. You get what I am saying here?

That can't be Angina because angina occurs after physical exertion. The pain would also spread to your arms, neck, back, jaw and shoulder. So you're saying that it hurts when you breathe when these pains occur?

My sister informed me wrong about Angina then. No, what I was saying was that it almost feels like struggling to breathe. LOL

The struggling to breathe sounds like anxiety setting in from worrying about the chest pains. Since you said that you've had these pains for as long as you can remember, I don't think it's anything serious but I would still go to your doctor just to get checked out.

Well, you're a lot better than Google.
Yeah, uhm......

My mind shifts every two minutes thinking about things; how I should do it to make an impact.

I am no doctor but I have first hand experience. I believe that what you are experiencing when you have those chest pains and struggling to breathe is panic attacks. I get panic attacks now because of my anxiety flare up. I get chest pains, it's hard to breathe, sometimes I get pains in my arms or legs with numbness. A panic attack is your body releasing a large amount of adrenaline in an explosive way. Basically you worry and worry and worry, build up all that adrenaline from worrying and because you're not moving around lots or exercising, that adrenaline has no where to go but your body has to release it some how so it goes into the 'fight or flight' response and you get the symptoms you just described.

It's not dangerous but the symptoms can mimic other conditions like GERD or angina.

My worst panic attack I had felt like I was having a stroke. The entire left side of my body went numb and weak, I couldn't breathe, I couldn't speak. Bad chest pains and I had a feeling of impending doom.

Also, I still recommend seeing your doctor about it. It most likely is panic attacks and your doctor will show you how to manage them. Your doctor will still check your lungs and heart/blood pressure just to make sure there are no underlying conditions but I am very certain that it is just panic attacks considering your symptoms.

1. Had tubes put in my ears when I was 5.

2. Had my wisdom teeth cut out (all 4 at once, yay!) - that wasn't so fun; surgeon found out I had obstructive sleep apneia, which wasn't on his medical form by the way. He about had a panic attack and they had to bring me around enough so that I was somewhat responsive - they still had two teeth to go when this happened. I don't remember being in control of my actions, but I remember the pain and trying to use my legs to push myself out of the chair...it was a very weird sensation. My husband also has some nice drool pictures to comemorate the occasion.

3. Had Dermoid Tumors removed from my ovaries in 2005. One was the size of my uterus, one was the size of a grapefruit, and the other the size of a tennis ball.

4. Had Lapband Surgery in 2010 - this one was voluntary and I have lost 80 lbs. Still working on losing more weight. ^_^
.
5. Had Gallbladder Removed in 2010 - had a gallbladder attack, which feels what I would imagine a heart attack feels like. I just remember waking up at 2am feeling sick and naseaus, with a sharp pain in the chest. I got up and was sweating and almost passed out before I got to the bathroom. The attack lasted for about 3 hours. I decided that I never wanted that again - if I am having a heart attack, I would like to know it. >_<

6. Had Adhesions and Cyst removed from ovaries in 2011 - also had mass removed from uterus (non-malignant, thank the lord).

Unfortunately the ultrasound I had earlier this month showed that I have another dermoid on my ovary, so I may end up having to have another surgery down the road...such is life though, and it could be alot worse.
