Your body stops growing around 21 years of age. It fully matures around 27 years of age. You start slowly growing older between 27-41 years of age, depending on how well you take care of yourself. Past that point, it's really only straight downhill from there.

In all honesty, 30 is quite young.

You really only become "old" or an "elder" around 60+ anyway, so I suppose although your the next generation or two above mine, you're still pretty young. The difference comes with plenty of extra experience.

Over 30 isn't lame.

One reason I'm saying this because I'm only 5 years away from being 30, haha.

Another reason is that there are plenty of badass people with a lot of success who are over 30.

Gerard Butler, Albert Pujols, Ray Lewis, Bill Gates, Lena Headey, Sean Bean, Elizabeth Hurley, etc. are all over 30 and doing/looking great.

Yeah, I view everyone over 30 as a lame old geezer with no valid opinions.

Well, it doesn't have to be, but it still could be.

Depends on which side of the planet you live on. Middle eastern and Asian cultures still tend to respect the qualities of old age: wisdom, experience, maturity and wits. Everyone in the west however has endured over 70 years of advertising aimed at the youth market. And that's why we essentially have a deification of the youth cult which worships the transient qualities of youth. The problem however is that the qualities of youth are beauty, ignorance, innocence and gullibility. Aside from beauty, they're all negative traits. But it goes a long way toward explaining why so many westerners disrespect their elders and insult anyone who values knowledge and rationality. They aren't stupid, they're just brainwashed into acting stupid and acting brash, and into getting as much plastic surgery as they can afford.

Hm, I used to think people over 30 would be too different for our generation to hang with, but the last few months have been teaching me otherwise. I've met quite a few REALLY cool and chill 30 or 30+ people at the club. One nice lady even bought me a few drinks when I went for my birthday! My friend's new living situation also has her living with 3 people who are 30 or 30+. They are amazingly awesome people. They will have barbecues on a whim or stay up with us at night just to drink and talk because we all just felt like it. Just....real cool cats.

I'd never tell you're that age. You sound more like a perverted 15 year old.

The problem is your stupid body. No more chili cheese fries and hamburgers with a fried egg at 2AM. But, you tend to have more money for toys. Not sure that balances out, actually...
